Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions set out the basis on which BALTHAZARWP LTD may quote for and provide cleaning services.
Company name: BALTHAZARWP LTD
Company number: 17130176
Legal address: 205 Kitson House East Station Road, Fletton Quays, Peterborough, PE2 8UB

1. Basis of service
Services are supplied on the basis of an agreed written scope, quotation, booking confirmation or other written acceptance. The company may refuse work where the site conditions, timing, access arrangements or requested activity fall outside a suitable operational scope.
2. Quotations
Quotes are prepared from the information available at the time. Prices may depend on floor area, condition, access restrictions, timing, building layout and any industrial or operational constraints. Quotations are based on the scope described at the time of quoting and may be revised if the actual site condition differs materially from the original brief.
3. Site visits and appointments
Where a survey or site visit is required, it is arranged separately and by appointment only. Access must be available at the agreed time. If the site cannot be accessed, or the relevant contact is unavailable, the company reserves the right to reschedule and charge reasonable wasted attendance costs where appropriate.
4. Client responsibilities
The client is responsible for providing accurate site information, suitable access, any required permissions, and a safe environment for work. Any hazards, alarm procedures, restricted areas, permit requirements or unusual surface conditions should be disclosed before the appointment or service date.
5. Industrial and specialist environments
Industrial cleaning activity is accepted only where the environment is appropriate for the agreed service. Hazardous waste handling, specialist decontamination, regulated chemical treatment or high-risk technical cleaning are not included unless expressly agreed in writing.
6. Variations to scope
If the requested work expands beyond the original scope, or if the actual condition requires substantially more labour, materials or attendance time than first described, the company may revise the quote, pause the work pending approval or agree a variation with the client.
7. Access, utilities and working conditions
The client must provide reasonable access to the agreed areas and any necessary utilities such as lighting, water or power where relevant to the work. The company may suspend or decline service if safe working conditions are not available.
8. Timing and scheduling
Appointment times and arrival windows are estimates unless a fixed time has been confirmed. Delays can arise from traffic, prior jobs, access issues or operational constraints. Reasonable efforts will be made to keep the client informed of any significant timing change.
9. Cancellations and postponements
Clients should provide as much notice as possible if a job must be cancelled or moved. Short-notice cancellations, unavailable access or aborted attendance may result in a reasonable charge, especially where travel or reserved time has already been committed.
10. Payment
Payment terms are set out in the quotation or invoice. Unless other terms are agreed in writing, payment is due within the invoice period stated. Late payment may result in further work being paused until the account position is regularised.
11. Service outcomes
Cleaning improves presentation, hygiene and condition, but some stains, wear, permanent marks, embedded damage or age-related deterioration may remain even after careful work. The company does not guarantee restoration beyond the practical limits of the relevant surfaces and environment.
12. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, the company’s liability for any claim connected with the service is limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim, unless a different limit is required by law.
13. Complaints
Any complaint about a completed service should be raised promptly with enough detail to allow a fair review. Where appropriate, the company may inspect the issue, request supporting photographs or propose a reasonable follow-up step.
14. Website information
Website content provides general commercial information and does not by itself form a binding quotation or fixed promise of availability.
15. Governing law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales unless applicable law requires otherwise.
